happy day after snowday

On this cold day after snow day in Connecticut I am daydreaming about this beautiful editorial shoot we had last year at the Winvian in Litchfield County with some pretty amazing vendors! Happy Wednesday everyone.... Photo Credit to our fabulous friend Charlotte Jenks Lewis

merry christmas from stacie shea events!

We here at SSE are in agreement that Christmas time is hands down the BEST time of the year. The day after Thanksgiving is set aside for attic emptying and Christmas decorating. But besides the balsam scent given off by the tree and the twinkling lights on all the houses in the neighborhood, this is a time of year to reflect on everything we are thankful for. We share memories and old traditions with family and friends and are sometimes lucky enough to start new traditions with new friends. We made "making a new tradition" a priority this season. This year marked our first annual Stacie Shea Events "Friendsmas" at Stacie's new home. It was a lovely evening filled with great industry friends and TONS of laughter. It is so important to recognize how much we appreciate everything these vendor friends do for us throughout the year to make our jobs easy and fun! Thank you, thank you to all of you who came out to celebrate the season!

P.S.  A big "thank you" goes out to Jessica for taking some photos of the details on the table and throughout the house!

holiday hours and christmas cards

I cannot believe I am quickly approaching Ms. C's 1st Birthday. I don't know where the time goes and how an entire year flew by so quickly. I guess that happens when you spend the first 3 months getting used to being a mother and then the remaining 9 months watching her grow like a weed and change every single day. A few weeks ago the hubs, myself and Ms. C had our now annual Christmas card taken over at Belle Haven Yacht Club with Jessica Haley Photography. Thanks Jess for capturing our little family!

This year I am making some changes at Stacie Shea Events over the holiday season. We will be closing up shop starting on Dec 19th and not taking any client meetings till the week of January 13th. This mama and business owner needs some much needed time away from my instagram, pinterest, emails, timelines, design boards and most of all my iphone to just regroup and get ready for the new year. I will still be responding to emails about future bookings but just at a slower rate as I soak in the holiday cheer and get some much needed rest.

Happy early Thanksgiving everyone!
